If state law states that a BMV only does ID cards on Election Day, that information should be permanently posted on their website. Not posted as a recent alert or announcement!

Also if a gas station offers diesel fuel, make sure that the pump clearly displays signage that it for autos...and not 18 wheelers.  Had to drive another 5 miles to get to a station with a normal nozzle.  Guess I need to buy one those adapters and keep it in the trunk.

At least I was able to vote in time...one of three states that closes the polls at 6pm.

Can’t put the information on the website, radical action like that might increase voter participation, and no one wants that

I ran into a similar snafu with my DMV. I was planning to go renew my license on Good Friday. No where does it say they closed at noon that day until you get to the last screen where you put yourself in line.

All I wanted was to get a plate for my VW. Indiana gives you a 45 day temp plate, but dealers have 30 days to send you the paperwork. Meaning you really only have 11 days (15 minus the Sundays and Mondays they aren't open).  Thursday is my last day.
